On 31 March, 2009, the ANWB (Dutch National Drivers’ Association) organised, as part of its co-creation strategy, a very successful online debate between cyclists about Cycling & Safety. The discussion was structured around themes like child safety, bicycles in traffic and traffic behaviour. Participants were asked to share their views on different propositions such as: ‘traffic exams should be mandatory at high school’ or: ‘Government campaigns to improve cycling behaviour are useless’.
Participants were extremely active and very engaged, awarding their Synthetron discussion experience a score of 9 out of 10. The film clip shows how the Synthetron consultants, in close cooperation with ANWB , moderated the session from the ANWB head office.
